Following the current COVID-19 situation and the cancellation of the MWC 2020 event in Barcelona, Xiaomi apprehended an online event on Feb 13 for the launch of Mi 10 and Mi Note 10 Lite. Conversely, due to the countrywide lockdown in most of the places, the further launch in many countries had been delayed.
It was until recently, that India started to sell the vanilla variant of Mi 10 in the market, and following the availability, Mi Nepal also teased the launch of Mi 10 series in Nepal and after the teasing, the long-awaited Mi 10 and Mi Note 10 Lite are finally official in Nepal.
However, there is a completely different pricing model for the Mi 10 series in Nepal as that is the same case in India as well. This is due to factors like direct import, higher GST, and depreciating Rupee value caused during the countrywide lockdown situation. On that note let’s dive into the specs details and find out what we have for the newest member in the market.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Overview:
It debuted in China in February, along with the more advanced Mi 10 Pro. It stuns a slick 6.67-inch S-AMOLED punch-hole with a 90Hz refresh rate which comes with a 1080 x 2340 FHD+ resolution.

Under the hood, it consists of Snapdragon 865 and can be powered with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It has a UFS 3.0 storage of up to 512 GB. It also comes preloaded with MIUI 11 based Android 10 OS.
As the camera is the core market point, it comes with a quad-camera setup which comprises a 108-megapixel main shooter, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth assist sensor. Also, in terms of front snapper, the Mi 10 comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
In terms of durability, it packs up a 4,780mAh battery inside of the box and supports 30W fast charging, 30W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging as well.
As, we know there has been a hike in the price due to the current global situation, and adding to that Xiaomi Nepal has also revised a hike in the Xiaomi smartphone a while ago. So, the price will be the big reveal for this smartphone but if it does debut in a decent price tag then the Mi 10 smartphone could possibly hit the charts.

Mi 10 Price in Nepal and Availability:
Xiaomi’s Mi 10 version offers two color variants coral Green and twilight grey. In terms of pricing, Xiaomi’s 8 GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the Mi 10 is available in Nepal for the price tag of NPR 89,999.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite Overview:
The other variant that will be available in the Nepali store is Mi 10 lite The Mi 10 lite comes with 6.47″ 3D Curved AMOLED Display with 60Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution. It also comprises of Gorilla Glass 5 for protection as well.

Under the hood, it comprises of Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 730G processor with 6GB RAM. It wears Android 10 with MIUI 11 skin.
In terms of camera Mi 10 Lite comprises of Quad-camera setup which consists of Quad-camera, 64 MP Main Camera, 8 MP Ultra-wide Camera, 5MP Depth Sensor, and 2MP Macro Camera. Also for the front snapper, it has 16 MP Selfie shooters.
Now, as for durability, it comes with a 5260 mAh battery with 30W charging. And it’s other features also contains Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer with a 3.55mm jack as well.
