Xiaomi released its new operating system the “Hyper OS” that was supposedly being developed for 7 years by Xiaomi from scratch that is based on android still. Some Xiaomi and POCO devices already have this operating system but if you have a newer Xiaomi device do not worry you’ll get this sooner or later.
MIUI and Hyper OS
This Operating system will not give you the experience of using a completely new OS as it heavily looks like the very own infamous MIUI we all love? and are habituated using. Except for the nostalgia to MIUI you’ll also be reminded of another operating system that we all like. With the new operating system Xiaomi plans to create easy environment for using all other Xiaomi devices like Tv, vacuums, watches, air purifiers and what now.
Basically, Xiaomi has its own neat little eco system now. This new operating system has way more to offer for the smoothness and seamless functioning of the phones from here on and honestly Xiaomi has done pretty good job on creating this OS for that purpose.
With the new OS comes new promises of this helping with the optimization for a stable peak level performance for many years to come. Hyper OS is also really lightweight. When compared to even the previous MIUI and other popular operating systems, Hyper OS occupies almost half the size of your device. Xiaomi has paid close attention to many details, like the way files are managed, how memory is handled, how images are processed, and how devices connect to networks. They’ve done this to make sure their devices perform their best and give users a smooth experience all the time. This not only means users get a great interface but also gives Xiaomi something to be proud of for years to come.
Except for this the new OS is filled with major differences on textures, animations and transitions. You can expect things to run faster, making animations smoother and letting you personalize your lock screen more. For the lock screen customization part you get features like depth effect, filters to use, newer fonts and even pre made layouts you can just pick and rock it. Also, HyperOS brings new ways to customize your device and use it with other Xiaomi gadgets, making everything easier and more enjoyable for users.
AI and Xiaomi
Xiaomi has also been paying close attention to the growing Artificial Intelligence around them and with this new OS they have launched a tons of cool AI features that are both useful and practical whereas some are there entirely for the fun element. You are also supposed to be able to search for photos in your gallery using AI, which may remind you of iOS. Use AI to expand and reframe your photos where AI will fill the gaps but these are features we yet cant use and are still in their beta testings.
Xiaomi also has something called HyperMind in their AI improvements. It uses four things like your surroundings, what your device sees, hears, and how you use it. By learning from what you do, your gadgets can start doing things the way you like them without you having to tell them every time.
Privacy and Security
In addition, Hyper OS includes high-level security features to keep your data safe. Xiaomi has focused on three main areas:
- Checking Security Together
- Keeping Transmission Secure
- Managing Permissions Across Different Platforms
These measures make sure your information stays private, even when your devices are working together. You get to decide what information your devices share, giving peace of mind to those who care about keeping their digital life private additionally it also has Xiaomi’s self developed security system to now store your valuables like passwords.
