Design and Display
The Google Pixel 6a has a two-toned design and a horizontal camera on the rear. The metal frame houses the fingerprint scanner, which is buried beneath the display. The display of Pixel 6a comes with 6.1″ FHD+ OLED with the support of a 60Hz refresh rate with a resolution of FHD+2400 x 1080 pixels. It has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and a maximum brightness of 1100 nits with the protection of Gorilla 3 at the front. The device supports Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos but it lacks headphone jacks and FM radio. There are three color choices here: chalk, charcoal, and sage. The Pixel 6a, unlike the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, is just IP67 dust and water-resistant.
Performance and Storage:
Talking about performance, Pixel 6a comes with Google Tensor Chip which is designed and built by Google itself which is the same chip inbuilt in the previous phones: Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro. Pixel 6a even has the Titan M2 security chip. The device has 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It runs on the latest Android 12 and the company also promises five years of security updates, Google has already stated that it will be among the first to adopt Android 13.
Camera:
On the part of the camera, the Pixel 6a comes with a dual-camera setup with the horizontal camera at a bump at the back of the phone. The rear camera has a 12.2MP dual-pixel wide camera featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Adding to this, the Pixel 6a has a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP camera in front.
The camera can record 4K video recording at 30 FPS, 60 FPS, and 1080p video recording at 30 FPS, and 60 FPS, and the Front camera can record 1080p video recording at 30 FPS respectively.
Battery and Rest of the features:
In the battery department, the Google Pixel 6a comes with a 4410mAh battery which is a disappointing fact but, Google still claims the battery will last up to 24 hours, and even there is an extreme battery-saving mode that promises endurance of up to 74 hours.
