Xiaomi’s Good Looking Mid-Range Phone Xiaomi 12 Lite Launched in Nepal

Xiaomi launched yet another good-looking phone in Nepal this week. Xiaomi 12 Lite launch date had been announced for August 24th, earlier this week. With Dolby Vision certification and a 120hz screen refresh rate packed up and a 4500 mAh battery offered, I am excited about this launch.

Design & Display

To talk about the design of this phone, there’s so much to appreciate. Xiaomi 12 Lite is a lightweight phone weighing just 173 grams. It’s thickness is about 7.99 mm and offers a 6.55-inch screen. Xiaomi 12 lite comes on three beautiful colours, ;ite green, black and lite purple. I personally fell in love with x12’s purple colour, it seems so sleek and pretty.

At the back we get exceptionally well put triple camera at the top left like every other phone these days and Xiaomi branding at the lower left. This phone offers a boxier feel to it thanks to the flat front and back although it has round edges. Being flat , it also offers sharper edges and there’s this premium feel to it.

Xiaomi 12 lite packs the 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution. This provides more vibrant colors and stronger contrasts. Adding upto this there’s HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. This display is paired up with Dolby Atmos so I can bet you’re going to love waching videos on this phone. Not only this , Xiaomi 12 lite features The 60Hz and 120Hz screen refresh rate and 2-staged AdaptiveSync feature that adapts according to what you’re browsing and makes it pleasureful and it has a touch sampling rate of 240hz. Thus, Xiaomi 12 lite checks the requirements box for display.

Camera

Xiaomi 12 lite comes with a triple camera setup on the back containing, a Primary 108MP camera that shoots at f/1.79 aperture , an Ultra-wide 8MP camera that shoots at f/2.2 aperture and a Macro 2MP camera that shoots at f/2.45 aperture. This camera is ready for any situatuation. The image it produces has accurate colours and they are praiseworthy or as Xiaomi says” Just strike a pose and be surprised with the cover shots it takes!”. The ultra wide takes a toll on low light like other budget phones and the macro lens doesnot have the sharpest details.

On the front it has a 32 MP camera that does wonders too. The images aren’t heavily beautified and there’s no unnatural factors about the shots. It also offers features like portrait selfie and HDR that makes the photos even better.

Other specifications

Xiaomi 12 lite packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G which is a power performer. It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM that does absolute justice. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Xiaomi 12 lite’s battery life is amazing too for such slim phone and it charges fro 0 to 100 in about 30 minutes with the provided fast charger. It runs on MIUI 13 for Poco based on Android 12. This phone also features X-axis linear vibration motor.
