After the recent global debut of Coolpad Cool 6 in Nepal, Coolpad has launched the Coolpad N7 Plus today which was first seen in Pakistan. Let us take a quick look at what features it has come at nearly half the price of Coolpad Cool 6.
Design and Display
It has a 6.53-inch display with minimal bezels and a dew-drop notch up top. It has a 720p resolution, 270ppi density and 90.3 screen-to-body ratio. The back panel has a simple gradient design with a pill-shaped triple camera setup on the top left, oval physical fingerprint scanner in the middle and some branding on the bottom. The build is polycarbonate with glass protection on both the front and back.
Hardware and Performance
It is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset based on 12nm architecture. It is an octa-core chipset with 8 Cortex A53 cores @2.0 GHz. With 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, it would have had an advantage over its competitors if not for the older and slower Helio P22 processor. It runs on Android 10 out of the box.
For connectivity, you get dual nano-SIM support of up to 4G, Wi-Fi b/g/n only, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, wired FM radio, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Camera
The rear dual-camera setup consists of a 20MP f/2.2 main and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor while the front has the same 20MP f/2.2 sensor for selfies. On paper, this is an advantage over other phones in a similar price bracket.

Battery
The 4000mAh battery here can be charged via USB Type-C port using the 10W charger provided in the box. A Type-C port at this price is a good addition to the company.

Verdict
