7,000 ISO Lumens for Huge Screens
Brightness is one of the biggest strengths of the TITAN Noir Max.
The projector delivers up to 7,000 ISO lumens, allowing it to produce a bright image even on very large screens. Therefore, users are not limited to small, completely dark rooms.
For dedicated home theaters, large living rooms and premium entertainment spaces, that extra brightness can make a noticeable difference.
Dual Intelligent Iris Improves Black Levels
High brightness is only useful when the projector can also deliver strong contrast.
That is where XGIMI’s Dual Intelligent Iris system comes in. The system automatically controls the amount of light reaching the image to improve black levels while preserving bright highlights.
XGIMI claims up to 10,000:1 native contrast.
Consequently, dark movie scenes can appear deeper, while bright areas retain strong detail.
RGB Triple-Laser Projection
The TITAN Noir Max uses an RGB triple-laser light source with 50 laser chips.
This technology helps deliver high brightness and a wide color range. XGIMI claims coverage of 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut, along with a color accuracy rating of ΔE < 0.8.
In practice, that makes the projector suitable for colorful movies, HDR content and visually demanding games.
4K Cinema With Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced
The projector supports several premium video standards, including:
- Dolby Vision
- HDR10+
- IMAX Enhanced
- Filmmaker Mode
- Dynamic Tone Mapping
- 3D
Dolby Vision helps optimize compatible HDR content scene by scene. Meanwhile, Filmmaker Mode aims to preserve the original look intended by content creators.
IMAX Enhanced support also adds another advantage for users building a dedicated cinema room.
Up to a 300-Inch Display
One of the biggest reasons to choose a projector is screen size.
The TITAN Noir Max can create an image of up to 300 inches. That is dramatically larger than even the biggest mainstream televisions.
Its 0.98–2.0:1 throw ratio and optical zoom also provide more flexibility during installation.
Furthermore, the projector offers vertical lens shift of up to ±130% and horizontal lens shift of up to ±50%.
240Hz Gaming Support
The TITAN Noir Max is not limited to movies.
Gamers can use the projector at up to 240Hz at 1080p, along with a claimed 1ms input lag. It also supports VRR and ALLM.
As a result, fast-paced games can feel smoother and more responsive on the giant screen.
For PC and console gamers with enough space, this could be one of the projector’s most exciting features.
Powerful Hardware and Connectivity
Under the hood, XGIMI uses a MediaTek MT9681 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Connectivity includes three HDMI ports, with one supporting eARC. Users also get USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and optical audio.
Therefore, the projector can easily become the central display device in a dedicated home-theater setup.
Harman Kardon Audio
XGIMI has equipped the TITAN Noir Max with two 12W Harman Kardon speakers.
The built-in audio system supports DTS Virtual, giving users a wider sound experience without immediately needing an external speaker system.
Design and Build Quality
The TITAN Noir Max is considerably larger than portable XGIMI projectors.
Its design is aimed at permanent or semi-permanent home-theater installations rather than carrying it from room to room.
On the other hand, the optical zoom and extensive lens-shift options make installation more flexible.
That combination is especially useful when the projector cannot sit directly in the ideal position.
