Startup and Idea Fest 2023: 100+ Startups and Innovations Being Exhibited on OCT 6-7

Living with ICT, a leading technology magazine in Nepal, is organizing Startup and Idea Fest 2023, a two-day exhibition of digital startups and innovations from all over the country. The event, which will take place on October 6 and 7, is a pre-event campaign for ICT Award 2023, the most prestigious award in the ICT sector of Nepal.

Over a hundred digital startups and innovations from across seven provinces will participate in the event, as per the organizers. The best 12 startups, products and innovations selected from the ICT Award 2023 competition will also exhibit their ideas and products at the fest.  The visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startups and products as well. Additionally, more than 30 startups selected by the organizers from seven provinces will participate in the event.

The event is supported by The Squad of Changemakers, who will also conduct a STEM Camp for children to showcase their projects in robotics, rocketry, and 3D printing.

Startup and Idea Fest is organized to promote startups and the innovations of the students who are doing something new in Nepal. Exhibitors and visitors participating in this exhibition do not have to pay any fee. Along with the two-day exhibition, mentoring and incubation sessions will be conducted for startups from outside Kathmandu valley.

The nomination and selection process for ICT Award 2023 is currently ongoing. The organizers have informed that more than 500 online applications have been received in the various 13 categories of the ICT Award.

Dozens of pre-events for the award will be conducted along with Startup and Idea Fest and STEM Camp. 

Kantipur Television will also broadcast a series of television programs featuring startups and idea pitching for 2 months as a special program of the award.

The 8^th edition of the ICT Award will be held on December 22 at The Soaltee Kathmandu.
