SCT has launched an omnichannel-based fast-banking solution after its research for five years. This system is supposed to solve the interoperability issue between mobile banking and internet banking services.
This “Fast Banking Solution” was launched in Hotel Raddisson on November 16, 2022, in the presence of banking and policy level dignitaries along with IT enthusiasts, Fintech leaders, and media.
At the event, Nepal Banker’s Association Chair and CEO of Agriculture Development Bank Anil Upadhyaya inaugurated the launch of Fast Banking Solution.
Regarding the use cases of Fast Banking Solution, Narayan Bhuju, CEO of Smart Choice Technologies (SCT) shared,
“The bank and financial institutions can revolutionaries the banking experience to their customers by deploying Fast Banking services as it syncs both mobile banking and internet banking services. As the existing mobile banking services are limited to making digital payments and fund transfers while compelling the users to visit the bank branches for other banking facilities, this service can allow other banking services in the mobile banking system through open API.“
Additionally, this would prevent the hassle for bank branches in maintaining manual records of customers and reduces the cost of paper works too.
Swift Technology has enabled Fast Banking Solutions for SCT Network
The technology behind Fast Banking Solution is enabled by Swift Technology. Niraj Dhungana, CEO of Swift Technology expressed that Fast Banking is a strong, scalable, and more secure system than existing mobile banking services in terms of its internal structure and technology.
The banks operating under the SCT network can give their customers a new user experience through Fast Banking Solution on their mobile applications.
Apart from making payments and bank transfers, customers can now avail of other banking facilities like opening a bank account, changing their PIN, getting a debit/credit card, etc through their own mobile banking app or through internet banking facilities without visiting the bank branches.
Moreover, it will be faster than ever in making transactions and processing banking applications with the help of robust technology.
Just a few months ago, Global IME Bank adapted this technology by upgrading its mobile app to Global Smart Plus. Sharing this real case example, Global IME Bank’s Transaction, and Card Operation Head Prakash Paudel added that this facility has added comfort and reliability among the users.
