In a recent development, GemWire found a creative asset on the official website of PUBG Mobile India. The creative assets suggested that the game is likely to be renamed Battlegrounds Mobile India. The new poster creative was found via an embedded link to a video on Vimeo which previously hosted the Diwali Coming Soon creative. There looks to be another video private in their asset collection on Vimeo with the above thumbnail.
The new video file was named “India Recall Campaign Motion_v02.mp4”. After a quick checking, it was discovered that the domain “battlegroundsmobileindia.in” has also been registered on April 7th by Krafton.Inc. This suggests a new announcement regarding a change that looks to be around the corner.
In another news, Dynamo, a prominent player and content creator of the Pubg mobile community discoursed over the game’s relaunch in a cryptic way. He revealed that the trailer of the game’s relaunch would be out on a double-digit date while the game itself would be released on a single-digit date.
Ocean Sharma, a well-known member of the PUBG Mobile community said “Two big announcements are set to happen in the coming month of May. One is likely to be about some Indian teams competing in the PMPL Arabia, while the other is expected to be about the game’s return. I still can’t guarantee the same completely.”
The access to PUBG Mobile was earlier blocked in India on 2nd September 2020 along with 118 other apps amid rising tensions between India and China. Ever since then Krafton, the parent company of PUBG Mobile has been looking for different means to try and bring the game back to India. It looks like this time it is going to get real. Many fans are excited about the game’s comeback in India. Are you excited too?
