Samsung launched stable One UI 5.0 for S22 series and opened beta testing for S20 and S21 series in few countries on 5th of August this year. Following its schedule the update was released officially for S22 series that includes Galaxy S22 Ultra, S22/S22+ on 31st October. Currently, the company is following the schedule of November and released it for Galaxy S21 series, older Galaxy S20 series and the Note 20 duo on 8th and for Galaxy A53 on 9th of this month.

What are the New features that One UI 5.0 introduces the users?
The One UI 5.0 update will subject users to many new yet amazing features in their devices. Let’s get to know more about each of the new features.
Design and Interface
This One UI 5.O update will introduce smoother animation and transition effects that will make switching screen feel more natural and interactions more innate. Similarly, it will have updated app icons along with improved blur effects and simplified colour schemes with brighter colours all along the one UI including quick panel and home screen.
Privacy and security
Security dashboard has been added in the settings that will make it easy for users to check security issues and fix them. New features introduced by One UI 5 will be warning you whenever you try to share photos containing sensitive information. Also, an icon will appear in the address bar on Samsung internet which will inform you about the websites’ security status.
Settings
Different new features have been added by the One UI 5.0 in the settings that will enable One UI users to set exception for do not disturb mode, different language for each app. Further, menu improvement has been done so that it will be easier to find the sound and vibration options you need, auto optimization has been introduced that will make your device run smoothly by closing background apps and cleaning memory.
Accessibility
One UI 5.0 will enable you to add high contrast font, colour inversion, colour adjustment and colour filter to the quick panel for easier access. Similarly, you can use your phone as magnifier, easily edit on accessibility button, make use of voice assistance for being sure you typed the correct letter by making your phone read out keyboard input which will be helpful if you can’t see the screen clearly.
