Ncell is presenting the “Ncell Women Icon ICT Award 2022” to encourage women in the field of information technology and to honor the contribution they have made in this field.
Ncell will present the award at the grand finale event of Nepal’s most prestigious ICT Awards to be held at The Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu.
As per the organizers, the winner of the “Ncell Women Icon ICT Award” will be given a cash prize amount of Rs. 3 lakhs and a certificate as well.
For the past 2 years, Ncell has been presenting the Woman Icon ICT Award to honor and motivate women in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
Last year, Nepal’s first female computer engineer, Guna Keshari Pradhan, was honored with the “Ncell Women Icon ICT Award“.
Ncell has joined the ICT Award in accordance with the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy, in order to encourage and recognize the contributions made by women in the field of information technology.
As a part of this, it has only-female Ncell center at Maharajgunj which is completely run by women.
The grand finale of the ICT Award will be held on the 8th of January 2023 at The Soaltee, Kathmandu with the participation of high personalities from the government and private sectors.
At the finale, ICT Awards will be distributed in more than 12 categories including the Women Icon ICT Award.
