Nabil Bank Launches “Scan and Withdraw”: Cash Withdrawals at Bank Using QR Codes

Nabil Bank has introduced the “Scan and Withdraw” Service. This feature allows customers to withdraw cash from Bank by just scanning the QR Code placed at the Nabil Bank’s teller counter using the Nabil SmartBank app.

Scan and Withdraw allows the customers to withdraw cash amount up to NPR 100,000 per day and NPR 1,000,000 per month. All you need to do is scan the QR code placed at the teller by using the Nabil Smart Bank app and withdraw your required amount. This makes the transactions all the more easy and flexible. Now, it won’t be a problem if you have forgotten your cheque book or atm card. Moreover, during this time of the pandemic, this facility will help lessen the physical contact of the customer with the bank teller. Also, the cash withdrawal facility will be quicker.

The CEO of Nabil Bank, Mr. Anil Keshary Shah states, “In this trying time, encashing cheque or any form of physical contact poses health risks. With Scan and Withdraw, we want to make sure that physical contact of customers with Bank teller is less and cash withdrawal request processing is quick.”

The Scan and Withdraw service is currently available in Kathmandu valley branches and the bank will soon be making it available in all the branches of Nabil Bank.
