IME Foundation, in collaboration with GME Korea, invites scholarships for postgraduate study in Software Engineering at any of the universities in Korea. It has been initiated with the aim of producing skilled manpower in the field of information technology. This arrangement is the first one of its kind to be initiated by IME Foundation in Nepal.
More about the Scholarship
The Scholarship has been announced for 2 students with $10,000 (USD Per Year) with the minimum educational qualification of graduate in software engineering. While studying in Korea, the benefited student will get the opportunity of paid internship in GME Korea and pass out student must be a full-time member of GME Korea for at least two years after completion of the study. In addition, post graduate students in korea may have the opportunity to work in a lab with professors.
Only those applicants who have been selected from among the applications received will be given the opportunity to be interviewed. The shortlisted students will have to get the permission from the local government by themselves. The shortlisted students will have to get the permission from the local government by themselves. High priority will be given to the applicant who is proficient in studies, possesses great leadership ability and shows special interest in extracurricular activities.
A scholarship selection committee of at least five members will be formed with at least one representative from each of the organizations related to scholarship and the final decision in this regard will be vested in that committee.
