The most renowned award in the IT and technology industry is again happening this year. As it is nearing the finals, the ICT Awards has announced the top 12 startups, products, and innovations for ICT Award 2022.
The top 12 winners in each of the three award categories—Startup ICT Award, Product ICT Award, and Rising Star ICT Award—have been revealed.
45 startups in the startup category, 36 products in the product category, and 52 students’ innovative ideas in the rising star category applied for the most prestigious award in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
Razan Lamsal, Coordinator of the organizing committee of the ICT Awards 2022, informed that the jury committee of 13 members and the advisory committee of 15 members of the award selected the names of the best 12 after 2 stages of selection from the applications received.

On November 5, startups, products, and rising star innovations that made the top 12 will take part in a presentation and speed dating session.
On the same day, a Startup and Idea Fest program will also be held. Out of the aforementioned competition, the top 5 will be chosen.
The selection procedure for the prizes in the remaining 9 categories is also still ongoing. The first phase of the Pioneer ICT Award, Entrepreneur ICT Award, Woman Icon ICT Award, and Nepali Diaspora ICT Award selection process is now in progress.
Similarly, the selection process is being conducted in the categories of Digital Education ICT Award Public Sector and Private Sector, Digital Governance, and Digital Services ICT Award. The online nomination for the South Asia Startup ICT Award, which started this year, is ongoing as well.
Online nominations were opened in various 12 different categories from the 1st of Shrawan, 2079. With the cooperation of national and international organizations, the grand finale of the ICT Award 2022 is being organized on the 8th of Poush, 2079 (December 23, 2022) at The Soaltee, Kathmandu.
In the third week of Kartik, a “Startup and Idea Fest” will be held as a pre-event campaign before the main event, featuring an exhibition and mentoring session of more than 100 entrepreneurs from across the nation.
