Honor has launched two products at CES 2021, Honor Band 6 & MagicBook Pro 2021 to mark the start of the year, 2021. However, Band 6 was already released back in November. With companies like OnePlus getting into wearables, Honor had to come up with something interesting to set it apart from others. Let’s have a quick look at both the products with key specifications and pricing.

Honor Band 6 Overview

Honor bands have always been customer’s favorite. The band provides one of the best value for your money when it comes to budget fitness trackers. Honor Band 6 does the same. The changes in design are noticeable, starting with large screen. It now features larger 1.47″ AMOLED touch display, compared to 0.95″ on its predecessor. There is a physical button on right side with red accent, like smartwatches and unlike fitness trackers. The strap is made up of rubber/silicon, which is totally fine for budget fitness trackers. There are three colors to choose from, Meteorite Black, Seagull Grey, Coral Powder

Honor Band 6

To keep track of your health status, it has SPO2 sensor for measuring blood oxygen level. It’s got Huawei TruSeen 4.0 for continuous heart rate measuring. Unlike OnePlus band launched just days before, Band 6 can keep track of menstrual cycle as well. TruSleep helps to keep track of your sleeping habits, along with keeping you up to date with suggestions to improve it. Other features includes calorie counting, step counting, SMS and notification alerts. The sports mode include 10 modes, like indoor/outdoor running, cycling, swimming, etc.

Battery on the device has large 180mAh capacity with up to 14 days of battery life. Unlike Mi Bands and OnePlus Band, you don’t have to take out the tracker to charge the band. You will get a dedicated charger for charging without the need of dismantling it.

Honor launched Band 6 at CNY. 249 (NPR. 4,500). We can expect the price of the device to be around NPR. 5,000 for the non-NFC version.

Honor MagicBook Pro Overview

Honor MagicBook isn’t a new device, as the AMD version of the device already being launched. It is light and thin laptop series with Intel’s Core i5-10210U power-efficient processor. The sleek design ensures portability and more targeted towards productivity tasks, rather than intensive gaming. The statement is supported by it’s mediocre NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU.

Honor Magicbook pro 2021

It features large 16.1″ FHD 1920*1080 with color accurate 100% SRGB coverage. The screen doesn’t have super high refresh rate, but is regular 60Hz panel.

You will get 16GB of RAM with 512GB NVMe SSD storage. In terms of port selection, the laptop features 3*USB Type-A ports, 1*USB Type-C port, 1*HMDI port, and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack. The keyboard doesn’t have numpad. The two speakers are located at the side of the keyboard for good media experience. The fingerprint scanner is located at the power button on top right side of the keyboard.

The battery on MagicBook Pro is 56Wh with 65W fast charging support. The battery is supposed to last around 11.5 hours on a single charge.

While Honor hasn’t confirmed any official pricing on the device, we can expect the price of MagicBook Pro to be around 1000$ mark. However, if it comes to Nepal, the pricing could be a lot higher following the trend. The price of Honor MagicBook Pro 2021 can be expected to be around NPR. 1,40,000 in Nepal.
