Honor Nepal has officially unveiled the Honor 9X Lite which adds another smartphone to its Honor 9X lineup from last year. Let us take a quick look at its specs before you considering buying the device.
Honor 9X Lite: Overview
It is a lighter version of Honor 9X and bears similarities to Honor 8X of last year. The phone comes with a 6.5-inch flat FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 ratio. The 2.5D curved glass protects the screen from scratches. The notch on the front houses the light sensor, earpiece, and front camera. The glass back body houses the vertical dual camera array on the top-right, a circular physical fingerprint sensor in the middle, and the ‘Honor’ logo at the bottom.
The phone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 710F octa-core processor with a single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. There is the option to expand the storage via a microSD card. Since the processor is the same as that on the Honor 9X that we reviewed before, you can expect lag-free multitasking and decent gaming on medium graphics. Fortunately, you still have the 3.5mm headphone jack here. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers dual nano 4G VoLTE/3G SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
Talking about the camera, the dual-camera module includes a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor to aid in portraits. For selfies, the front sensor is 8MP f/2.0. You can shoot videos up to 1080p@30fps from both the front and back sensors.

Keeping the lights on here is a decent 3750mAh with 10W micro-USB port charging support. The software runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9. If you remember our Honor 9X review, the phone arrived without GMS which caused so much hassle but fortunately enough, Honor 9X lite comes with full GMS (Google Mobile Services) support and it shows how Honor had to opt for an older processor to keep the software intact.
