The growing homegrown app Hamro Patro app reaches another milestone with the completion of 1st year with Hamro Patro Remit.
Just a year ago, Hamro Patro Remit started its operation in Nepal and it has been able to bring in remittances worth Rs 1.5 Arba within a year.
Sharing this accomplishment, Hamro Patro Remit’s CEO Sudina Gautam shares,
The reason Hamro Patro Remit has made such a huge volume of transactions during the first year of operation is that it is user-friendly, easy to use, trustworthy and it is dependable.
She added that the entire team is motivated to have made such a huge impact in the Nepalese economy and people’s life through Hamro Patro remit.
According to the company, Hamro Patro Remit has transacted more than Rs 50 crores in the past 3 months. With Rs 20 crores of funds being remitted in the last month only, Hamro Patro Remit is growing with a huge volume and it is expected to become much bigger in the second year.
At present, Hamro Patro is available for remitting money from the US only. The system for remittance is supported by Machnet Inc.
And comparatively, Hamro Patro provides higher exchange rates than other remit service providers.
Regarding the expansion of its services, Gautam adds,
“There have been demands to get the remit service operated in Japan and Australia. The service of Hamro Patro Remit has certainly made a mark. The team is certainly working to expand services to other than the U.S. In the days to come, people will now be able to remit money from Australia using Hamro Patro soon.
Hamro Patro Remit has a special feature called Instant Pay. It is a popular feature amongst users which allows you to send money to anyone in their bank account within 24 hours.
Along with that, it is all set to launch Hamro Pay. It is a digital wallet that will allow any person living in abroad to transfer funds easily to Nepal.
Adding on to this, Gautam says,
