CGNET is back and this time with upgraded internet packages. CGNET has brought forward its new residential offers at the most affordable rates. There are three different offers within the residential plan. All offers within the residential pack are created to be both affordable and reliable. The first in the residential offer is the 75mbps plan, also known as the “Sprinter” which is available for Rs. 680/month if paid for one year, Rs. 720/month for 3 months, and Rs. 730/month if paid for one month only – FUP 1300GB.
The next offer is the “Popular” package, that is, 150mbps at Rs. 925/month if paid for one year or Rs. 1015/month if paid for three months, or Rs. 1050/month if paid for one month only – FUP 1900GB.
The last offer consists of the 300mbps pack, also known as the “Rockstar” which is available for Rs. 1244/month if paid for one year, and Rs.1399/month if paid for one month only – FUP 1900GB.
All the packs include a free one-time installation and drop wire charge. The dual-band router rental charge varies depending on the package you select. Also, Rs. 500 is to be deposited which will be refunded only when the dual-band router is returned back to the CGNET office in working condition.
The 50/120mbps plans are no longer available and can be upgraded to any of the three packages at the next renewal. For customers who are on a three-month plan, they can upgrade immediately by paying the difference in amount. Current single-band routers will be able to exchange their routers for dual-band routers for no charge at the CGNET office.
Order for the packages can also be placed via the CGNET website by clicking on the residential offer tab on the homepage and then selecting the order now tab. Just fill out the necessary information and someone from the CGNET office will contact you.
With the new plans and pricing structure, CGNET also joins the rest of the ISPs that give more discounts for a longer duration meaning you have to lock yourself for at least 3 months or up to a year to get more discounts. However, earlier there was almost no or very little difference in amount whether you paid for one month or one year. While paying for one year to get a discount is a good offer but what happens if there’s a better package in the next month? And let’s not forget ISPs also do not have a policy of refunding if there’s a cheaper package we wish to switch to.
