The long-awaited pre-registrations for the game, developed by Krafton, will go live on May 18th, 2021. Fans will be able to receive unique rewards only if they pre-register for the game. These bonuses will only be available to Indian players.
You have to visit the Google Play Store and click on the “Pre-Register” button to pre-register for Battleground Mobile India, and you will be automatically eligible to claim your rewards when the game launches. This game will debut as a free-to-play game on mobile devices.
As PUBG was banned in India due to privacy and data security issue; this time KRAFTON will collaborate with partners to ensure data protection and security at each level. The privacy and data security of users will be a top priority. This will ensure that privacy rights are protected. They have also claimed that all the data collection and storage would comply with all relevant Indian and international laws and regulations.
The company has made it clear that users below 18 years of age would not be able to play the game for more than 3 hours per day. And underage players will need to provide the contact number of their parent/guardian for verification. The In-app purchase will also be limited to a maximum of INR 7,000 per day.
Only Indian region players will be able to play the game. KRAFTON will work with partners to create an esports ecosystem while regularly releasing in-game content, beginning with a series of India-specific in-game events at launch, which will be announced later.
