Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro/Ultra Overview
Build and Design
Mi 11 Ultra is made up of Ceramic and available in two colors ceramic white and ceramic black. Not only ceramic makes it strong but also unique to other devices. It also allows wireless charging like glass. Xiaomi claims that this phone has been carefully crafted for phone enthusiasts. Similarly, this phone possesses one of a kind 1.1″ rear AMOLED at the back which can be used to preview selfies and notifications. Although most of the Xiaomi phones are dust and water-resistant, this time they have taken to another level with certified IP68 in Mi Ultra.
Talking about the display, both Mi 11 Pro and Ultra possess a 6.81 inch AMOLED screen. The display screen is curved and symmetric to maintain the premium feel. It also consists of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to provide protection for the device.
Camera
Xiaomi has set a new precedent with Mi 11 ultra in terms of camera capabilities. Typical smartphone cameras feature one primary and other supporting lenses. However, Mi 11 ultra offers three sensors which are just as good as primary lenses in other phones. The phone possesses a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP periscope lens, and 48MP ultra-wide angle. Xiaomi claims that this is the best camera it has ever made in its history and it certainly feels like it.
Performance
Mi 11 possessed the world’s first-ever Snapdragon 888 chipset in the device. Xiaomi continues this trend in both Mi 11 Ultra and Pro and places the Snapdragon 888 chipset inside. The Snapdragon 888 is a flagship offering from Qualcomm based on Samsung’s 5nm processor. The CPU has an octa-core design, with new Arm Cortex-X1 architecture. It has an X60 modem for 5G connectivity.
As of RAM/ROM is concerned, it comes with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 3200MHz RAM with 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 faster storage. So, I expect the performance to be far superior in this device.
Other Features
Now, let’s discuss other features this device possess. It contains dual-SIM 5G which runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. Connectivity options on the device comprise 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone also comes with Harman Kardon stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Likewise, there is a huge 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired and wireless charging. Mi Ultra measures 164.3×74.6X8.8mm and weighs 225 grams.
Price and Availability
Xiaomi Nepal has not confirmed the availability date for Mi 11 Ultra/Pro yet. However, there is no denying that these phones will be released in Nepal sooner or later. In China, the sales for these amazing phone starts on April 2.
