Vivo Nepal has launched Vivo V21e in Nepal with a motive of providing style and good cameras in mid-range segment. It is basically the affordable, toned-down version of Vivo V21 launched around a month ago. The phone doesn’t offer market disrupting features but gets the job done for the price. Design & Display
Talking about the design, it gets fresh new color options, Diamond Flare and Roman Black. The former one looks flashy and has tiles with attractive gradients. In terms of dimensions, it is just 7.38mm thin and weighs 171g. The thin and light design has always been the favorite of Vivo and it’s no different here.
In terms of display, the phone has 6.44″ FHD+ E3 AMOLED display with HDR10 support. However, it is just 60Hz screen in 2021 which is really disappointing. Phones at almost half the price are offering it but that is Vivo for you.
Camera & Performance
It features triple camera setup on the back with 64MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens. But, the primary lens doesn’t have OIS as more expensive V21 and just has EIS. It has other features like Super Night Mode, stable video and art portrait video. For the front camera, there is a 44MP f/2.0 selfie camera with features like 4K video, dual-view video and AI night portrait.
For performance, there is older Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. In addition, you can extend RAM up to 3GB with software as well. The processor is 4G chip-set and not 5G. You can get decent enough performance from the phone if not the best.
Other Features
In terms of battery, it has 4000mAh with 33W fast charging support. The fingerprint scanner is located under the display, thanks to its AMOLED screen. It has 3.5mm headphone jack on it. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
