The NCIT Hackfest 2024, a three-day hackathon organized by Nepal Open Source Klub (NOSK), concluded on Jan 13 with team Superlatives winning the competition. The hackathon had seen participation of more than 180 youths from 40+ teams.
Meanwhile, team Dirgayu was declared first runner up, with team members Isha Hitang and Prinyanka Sinha.
Likewise, team Cat.gif, with team members Vision Rijal, pradip dhungana, Nishchal Dhakal, and Bishnu Timilsena was awarded with the second runner-up title.
In addition to the top three teams, four other teams were awarded in different categories.
- Best UI/UX – Team EDITH, with team members Sanskar Tamang, Bijay Dahal, Binit Gurung, and Udaya Shankhi, won the Best UI/UX award.
- Best Teamwork – Team BugBuster, with team members Kirpa Khanal, Nihal Upreti, Uttsav Pokharel, won the Best Teamwork award.
- Best Innovation – Team RevolutionBytes, with team members Atit Kunwar, Manjit Pun, Utsav Maharajan, and Sagar Nemkul, won the Best Innovation award.
- Best Newbie – Team 2Bit, with team members Adarsha Pokharel, Devendra Khatri, Snigdha Adhikari, and Sanish Tamang, won the Best Newbie award.
