Design and Build Quality:
The vanilla S24 this year comes with a dimension of 70.6x147x7.6mm, and weighs around like 168 grams. While S24+ comes with a dimension of 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs around like 197 grams.Both models come with a glass sandwich design with matt black glass at the back, both protected by the gorilla glass armor which the company claims to be 4X more tougher.The phone comes in a much more durable Armor Aluminum 2 frame.
Display:
As we know Samsung displays are considered the industry best , and this time around Samsung has not disappointed with their display. Even the base S23 comes with 6.20″ Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X, 120Hz not only that like its bigger siblings the display can reach peak brightness of 2600 nits. The display is flat with symmetric bezels around the screen. S24 is the only screen with 1080p in the S24 trio but nevertheless the screen looks gorgeous, no matter what content you are watching.
Performance:
Samsung has decided to go with their in-house chip , the Exynos 2400 in the international market for the S24 which in my belief is a downgrade from the 8 Gen3 chip which is shipping in the North American market. The base configuration starts with 128GB, 8GB and goes up to 512GB,8GB memory configuration. The base configuration comes with the UFS 3.1 and rest of the models comes with UFS 4.0.
But Samsung has not done anything like this with the plus model as it ships with 8 Gen3 across the world and the base storage also starts at 12GB,256GB and goes up to 12GB,512Gb storage variant both with faster read/write speed of UFS 4.0
Camera:
Both the S23 and S23+ camera system is a photography powerhouse. Software and AI:
Samsung is cashing in hard in the realm of artificial intelligence with the S24 series.Among these features are live video translation, a dynamic lock screen, a smart keyboard, and more. The phone will ship with One UI 6.1 on top of Android 14.The phone will obviously have a long term support and Samsung is one of the best when it comes to updates these days.
Battery :
The S24 leaves a striking first impression, building on its predecessors with a minor upgrade in the battery department. Featuring a robust 4000 mAh battery, a 100 mAh boost from the last generation, the device promises extended usage without compromising on performance. Though the S24 only supports 25 watt wired charging which is slow for 2024 phones and the wireless charging and reverse wireless charging remains the same as its predecessor.

The S24/S24+ ticks all the boxes when it comes to sensors except the IR blaster. Both the phones come with WiFi 7 only the Exynos version of S24 comes with slower wifi 6E which in comparison is 4 times slower than WiFi 7 and both devices supports bluetooth 5.3 There is a ultrasonic fingerprint reader for the security and the phone also packs the very handy additional feature of Samsung Dex. The S23+ also supports the UWB(ultra wide band support) but Emergency SOS via satellite is only reserved for the Ultra .
