After a month-long preparation and great enthusiasm from participants, the Revamp Nepal 2.0 has been successfully concluded. The second edition of Revamp Nepal was organized by Fibro Nepal with the support of SaralMind, TechSathi, and Idea Jar on August 27 and August 28.
The two-day event featured a diverse line-up of ventures, ideas, change-makers, and initiatives currently active in the Nepalese entrepreneurial ecosystem. Not only the event provided a platform for participants to directly connect and interact with prospective customers, clients, and partners but also helped them promote their products and services. The successful completion of the event has contributed to the growth of the post-pandemic Nepalese startup ecosystem directly or indirectly.
Last time, Revamp Nepal was organized on 27th February 2021 with an intent to revive the social networking environment. The day-long event took place in Buzz Café & Restaurant at Naxal. It was a tremendous success before and many companies startups benefitted from this incredible event. During Revamp 1.0, famous startups and businesses such as Foodmario, Mero Adda, Best Mad Honey, SochWare, and many more came together to ensure a wonderful event. However, due to the ongoing lockdown, Revamp Nepal 2.0 concluded with virtual networking and exhibition event.
In comparison to the first edition, the presence of participants and startups was overwhelming in this second edition. The event saw such a huge number of participants that the organizers had to shift back the event date to give more time for new participants. This year even more startups and businesses came together to make an even more wonderful event. The event saw participation from 100+ startups. Some of the startups that participated in the event were Karkhana science, Kitab yatra, AMP collection, Oho cake, Metrotarkari.com, Shine & reflect, Best Mad Honey, Sochware, and many more.
Besides the exhibition itself, the event was lively with engaging activities hosted by the participating ventures and companies. Cosmos County revealed their first-ever telescope product, Red Tail Studio showcased their gaming console products, Kitab Yatra offered a huge discount on best-selling Nepali and English books, and Best Mad Honey provided details of their available products. There were also exclusive offers by FiBRO Style, Kitab Yatra, and other ventures in their products.
In this second edition, Revamp Nepal had Saral Mind aboard as the Education Partner for the event along with TechSathi as News Partner, Idea Jar Digital as Digital Partner, Sysqube Technology as Technology Partner, Kings College as Knowledge Partner, also Kitab Yatra and Kidorama as Proud Partners.
Launch of Cosmos County
During the event, a new venture was launched called Cosmos County which was co-founded by Mr. Suraj Raj Pandey. Cosmos County is a startup that aspires to build a community for various cosmic activities happening in Nepal. Their first product is a 70 mm telescope that is pretty good for starters to view the moon, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn.
