Realme is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the world right now and it isn’t just limited to smartphones. Realme Nepal has finally launched some new arsenal of accessories to challenge its rivals on the market. Four of them are now available across all Realme offline stores and on Daraz from August 11.
I will be covering the realme Watch and realme Band in this article along with their price, specs and features.
realme Watch
Realme watch isn’t a full-fledged Wear OS smartwatch but a step-up from an entry-level fitness tracker. At first glance, the watch seems highly inspired by Apple Watch due to its minimal design and glossy finish. It has a multi-functional physical button with a golden line on the right side. The silicone straps are detachable and have an adjustable length of 164-208mm. The watch weighs only 31 grams without the strap. Since the watch is IP68 certified you can wear it while showering or even swimming.
The smartwatch has a 1.4” 320×320 pixels color touchscreen with a rarely visible Realme logo on the chin with bezels on all sides unlike the edge to edge screen on the Apple watch. The screen offers 380nits of brightness with 10 levels of brightness adjustment for all kinds of lighting situations. The back part of the watch has charging pins along with sensors for measuring your heart rate or blood oxygen level. As per the company, there are 12 built-in watch faces to choose from at the moment and over 100 will be added with future OTA updates.
The various features of this fitness tracker watch include 24hr real-time heart rate monitoring with alerts for high or low heart rate, sleep tracking, step counter, drink reminder, weather forecast, phone finder, blood oxygen level tracking, and various kinds of activity tracking. It is recommended to sync your watch with your smartphone via the Realme link app to gain more data on all types of tracking.

Since the watch can sync with your phone via the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology, it has a good connection to notify you of your incoming calls, SMS, and app notifications like Facebook, Instagram, etc. when it is within range of your smartphone. You can control your smartphone’s music and camera along with other Realme accessories like Realme Buds, Smart Lamp, Smart speakers, etc. via the watch.
Considering the larger screen, the battery of 160mAh falls behind fitness bands but the company claims up to 7 days with automatic heart rate monitoring turned on, and up to 9 days without it. To fully juice up the watch’s belly, it is said to take around 2.5 hours.
realme Watch Price in Nepal and Availability
The only color variant available as of this launch is the Black one with a decent price tag of Rs. 7799.
In conclusion, though the pricing is slightly higher as directly compared to the price in India i.e. INR 3999 (~NPR. 6350), Realme watch’s all-round features at this pricing can’t be matched by any other in the Nepalese market right now.
realme Band
Realme Band has a minimal design with a plastic body and slight curves to comfort your wrist. The TPU made detachable straps are 16mm wide with an adjustable length of 152mm-227mm. With a weight of merely 20 grams, you may sometimes forget if you have the band on your wrist or not. Removal of the straps reveals the USB-A connector on the band itself for charging without the hassle of any wires or magnetic pins. The PPG heart rate sensor is on the back of the band while the small white circular capacitive button below the display is used for operating the band. Thought the band is IP68 certified and you can take it underwater there is no swimming tracking available.
