Display and Design
The realme GT 5 features a 6.74-inch 1.5K resolution OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports up to 1400 nits’ peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and is HDR10+ certified.
Powering the vivid visuals is the Pixel works X7 independent display chip. The phone has a glass back with a unique rippling pattern and comes in black and silver colors. realme has packed a 4600mAh battery in the slim 8.86mm body weighing just 205 grams.
Performance and Hardware
At the core of the realme GT 5 is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform built on a 4nm process. It is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
For imaging, there is a triple 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro camera setup. The main camera uses a large 1-inch IMX890 sensor with OIS. Selfies are handled by a 16MP front camera.
Charging and Connectivity
The headline feature of the realme GT 5 is support for insane 240W wired charging. As per realme, it can charge the 4600mAh battery from 0 to 20% in just 80 seconds. There is also a 150W charging variant with a 5240mAh battery.
