Oppo has finally announced their new smartphones in Oppo Reno 8 series on 23rd May 2022. This series has two smartphones in the lineup i.e. Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Oppo Reno 8 Pro+. We will mainly discuss the price of Oppo Reno 8 Pro in Nepal, its features, and its availability in this article.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro will soon be available for purchase in China, with a base price of CNY 2,999. Although there is no official word on when the first smartphone would be launched in Nepal, the predicted asking price is somewhere around Rs. 70,000.

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro comes in three different colors i.e. black, gold, and blue. This smartphone features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a punch-hole design on the top as well as it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 from any damage. It has used aluminum for its framing. It is 7.6 mm thick and 188 grams in weight so during handling and using it, this could feel light and comfortable in the hand.
The screen features a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate that may be adjusted. The maximum brightness is 1300 nits so you would be able to use it outside in daylight without worrying about brightness. It boasts an 89.0% screen-to-body ratio and a PPI density of about 397 pixels per inch. It has a rectangular camera bump on the top-left side of the rear.

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU creates a seamless performance even though playing heavy mobile games or performing numerous apps or web applications simultaneously time. The Adreno GPU handles the smartphone’s graphics, and there are just two RAM options: 8GB and 12GB. It does have internal memory capacities of 128GB and 256GB in the UFS 2.2 configuration. There seems to be no micro sd card port, so you can’t increase your storage, and the phone works with Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1. However, internal storage could have used UFS 3.1 configuration for the Pro series.

The main camera can capture 4K@30fps video, while the third camera is a 2MP macro on the back. It has a 32-megapixel selfie camera that could also record footage at 1080p@30fps.

Among other sensors, it incorporates a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass. NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.2 , and hotspot all are compatible. It supports A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS.
Verdict:
Oppo Reno 8 Pro comes with a 4500mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. It comes with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner at the front, with a face unlock feature as well for security. The phone comes in three color options, Blue, Gold, and Black.
