Oppo F19 Pro Gets Price Drop in Nepal

Oppo, a brand, heavily targeted towards youths, launched F19 series in India, a week earlier. The phones were named as Oppo F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ 5G, no regular F19 for now. In Nepal, Oppo has launched F19 Pro variant here in Nepal. However, the 5G variant might not come to Nepal. Oppo F19 Pro gets new price tag of NPR. 35990 for 8GB/128GB storage variant. The phone was priced at 39,990 before. As it gets a drop of Rs. 4000, the new price gas been set up. The phone was officially launched at NPR. 44,990 around a year ago.

Design & Display

The phone is built with plastic, with plastic frame. The back of the phone looks minimalistic with soft texture. The camera module design has changed in comparison to previous models like F17 Pro, as you can see in the image. On the front, we get a punch hole style notch holding the front facing camera.

In terms of display, we get a 6.43″ FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 100% sRGB color coverage. Although the phone has 60Hz refresh rate display, it has 135Hz touch sampling rate with 180Hz sampling rate in gaming mode. It also has 800nits peak brightness value, which should get bright enough in outdoors too. With AMOLED display, we should get bright colors, deep black and good viewing angles as well.

Camera

Oppo F19 Pro offers quad camera setup. It has 48MP, f/1.7 main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It supports EIS and can record 4K videos at 30FPS as well. On the front, we have 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture, situated at punch-hole cutout at upper-left corner. It can record FHD videos at 30FPS.

Performance

On the performance side, we get MediaTek Helio P95 chip-set. Now, this is a year old CPU that can handle low to medium power hungry apps. The company could have gone with better options like Dimensity series, but it is chosen just to differentiate it’s Pro+ variant with other ones. It is an octa-core processor with 2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 configuration. The phone comes with IMG 9XM-HP8 970MHz GPU.

In terms of RAM/ROM configuration, F19 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM with 128GB/256GB of ample storage. The memory technology used here is UFS 2.1.

Other Features

Oppo F19 Pro comes with smaller 4310mAh battery. It supports 30W VOOC fast charging. It comes with ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. There is in-display fingerprint scanner at the front, with face unlock feature as well for security. It also has expandable storage option. The phone comes in two color options, Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black.
