Customers will have to check for NEPALPAY logo in their mobile banking and wallet apps to initiate such payment. It is currently enabled in mobile banking apps of over 14 BFIs & PSPs including Everest Bank, Himalayan Bank, Machhapuchhre Bank, Mega Bank, NCC Bank, NIC Asia, Sanima Bank, Sunrise Bank, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, Goodwill Finance, ICFC Finance, Samriddhi Finance, CellPay, MORU and connectIPS app. And the BFIs and PSPs have acquired over 70 thousand merchants for NEPALPAY QR at static QR, dynamic QR, QR gateway and QR POS.

It works as an independent QR scheme and allows QR interoperability at merchant and network levels, corresponding to which independent QR and merchant level interoperability has already been realized so far. NPS including NEPALPAY QR has already been subscribed by over 47 BFIs and 12 PSPs.
