LG Nepal has launched its C1 Series OLED TV’s in Nepal on 23rd December 2021. With this LG became the first brand to launch OLED TV in Nepal.
What is OLED?
OLED is the abbreviation for organic light-emitting diode or organic LED. An OLED display must send an electrical current through organic electroluminescent material to generate light or form a picture. OLED is a self-emissive display. “Self-emissive” displays are those that can create light without the need for a backlight. As OLED technology is self-emissive, each pixel can be individually turned off for pure black picture production. Due to a potentially infinite contrast ratio, OLED panels are usually acknowledged to create a better image when compared to LCD displays.
