First time in Nepal, the biggest kids expo was organized by the IMS group. The event was held a day before Christmas which is on 24th December at Rai School, Naxal from 10 am to 5 pm. As the event was held on Christmas Eve day, it was Christmas-themed.
Kids expo 2022 sold over 1500 tickets (at NRs. 250 each) and welcomed over 2500 people which was far beyond the organizer’s expectations. Hence, the event was a huge success. The 2500 attendees of the event also included celebrity mothers, Zenisha Moktan, Reecha Sharma, and Sweta Khadka. Over 40 International and National baby and kids’ brands such as Dr Browns, Crane, Crane Baby, Chicco, CG Foods, Mamaearth, Parakito, Dreambaby, Sujal Foods, Himalaya, Cozee Lounge Wear, KidzCo, Fun Station, Krishna Pauroti Bhandar, etc. showed their overwhelming presence in the event for showcasing their products and presenting the best deals, discounts, and offers on them.
Furthermore, the event also encompassed engaging activities for kids. It was a jolly day for kids and toddlers as they were all around the school premises playing, eating, and watching the exhibitions with their parents.
The event achieved a grand success; so, Mr. Dikesh Malhotra, President & CEO, of IMS Group stated that the team is looking forward to organizing the expo in 2023 too.
Should events like the Kids expo be organized time and again?
Children are sprouting buds that will bloom into a flower in the future. Flowers are of various sorts; some are eye-catching while some may be medicinal and soothing. Like the flowers, every child has his/her own personality and resemblance. Parents are the caretaker of these little buds thus, the way they nurture them decides the way they bloom.
To bring out the best in their child, parents must give them a social space and make them participate in engaging social activities. Events like Kids expos are the best way of bringing children together and letting them bond with each other. This kind of program not only helps the parents in nurturing their kids but also helps the kids themselves to be outspoken, confident, and social. Such kids grow up to be the best citizens of the nation. Eventually, this sort of program will be beneficial to the nation too. Therefore, programs like Kids expo must be organized more often.
