It seems like Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo have some plans to establish a competitor for the Play store. With the trade war going on, the android devices in china are being sold without a play store. The apps are being distributed by the proprietary app stores of the brand. But these stores haven’t been that huge.
There have been reports that the companies Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo are preparing a competitor for the play store. It isn’t necessarily a store but a platform that allows android developers to upload their apps to all the proprietary app stores. This way they’ll strengthen app stores of all the brands above.
