Global Shapers Community Kathmandu Hub announces that it will hosting SHAPE South Asia 2023 with the theme “Shaping Climate Resiliency towards a Great Himalayan Future for All” at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur from May 19-21.
120+ youth leaders from across South Asia and the world will come together to develop a shared vision for green and climate resilient development. The two-and-a-half-day event will showcase innovative and scalable solutions from across the community and develop actionable recommendations that will be translated into climate resiliency projects across the region. This will be a non-traditional event as Global shapers will also be immersed into the local culture, heritage, and food through the sessions to better understand the Nepali way of life.
Global Shapers Community Kathmandu is part of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The global network consists of youth leaders from diverse sectors working to deliver impact through 450+ city-based hubs across the world. A SHAPE event is a regional event for shapers by shapers that is supported by the wider global community.
