What is ISO 27001:2013?
ISO 27001:2013 is a globally recognized standard for information and data security. It deals with the management of information security system, which is crucial for an organization. ISO 27001 also enables organizations to realize their weak point and work on them. Organizations that meet the standard’s requirements are ultimately eligible for being certified by accredited certification bodies.
Importance of ISO:
ISO is the globally recognized standard to examine information data security of any organization/company. Moreover, it presents and explains several ways to ensure data safety and privacy. Without an information security system, the organization tends to be disorganized and there might be questions on safety, privacy, and reliance on their service. Being ISO certified means that the system is meeting all the globally recognized standards required for a proper information security system.
