vivo has expanded its V-series in India with the launch of the vivo V29e. vivo V29e comes with an attractive 3D curved display with 120Hz refresh rate , color-changing back panel, capable processor, good set of cameras and fast charging support.

The vivo V29e is priced at Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. It will be available in two color options – Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black.
Sales for the phone will start from August 29 via vivo’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon, and major offline retailers across India.
vivo V29e Price in Nepal and Availability
vivo V29e is not yet available in Nepal. However, we expect to see it in the Nepali market very soon. The estimated price of the phone in Nepal is around NPR 42,199 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and NPR 45,999 for 8GB + 256GB variant.
Display and Design
The vivo V29e features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother animations and scrolling. It also supports HDR10 for better contrast and color reproduction when watching HDR videos.
The phone has an eye-catching curved display with slim bezels and a left-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. vivo has used a 7.57mm thick body that weighs around 180.5 grams. The back panel has a premium glossy finish.
Processor, Software and Storage
Powering the vivo V29e is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 mobile platform. This 5G-enabled chipset is built on the 6nm process and has eight cores for efficient multitasking.
The phone runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box. Software features include improved privacy controls, theming options, and smarter AI-based optimizations.
For storage, the vivo V29e comes in two variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card.
Cameras
There is a triple rear camera setup on the back of the vivo V29e headed by a 64MP main camera with OIS support for steadier photos and videos. The other two lenses are an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
Selfies and video calling duties are handled by a 50MP front-facing camera that should capture good details and colors. Portrait mode, beautification features, and other camera filters are also available.
Battery and Connectivity
The vivo V29e packs a 5000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 18.7 hours of online HD video playback on a single charge. 33W fast charging allows the battery to charge from zero to 63% in 30 minutes.
Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for quick biometric authentication.
