Softwarica College, is organizing an exhibition on “Smart Technology” on its college premises. A 4-day exhibition is going to start this Thursday at Dillibazar, Kathmandu, showcasing the projects prepared by students studying at Softwarica College. The event’s main attraction will be the battle of robots “ROBO WAR” which will last until Sunday. The event will be inaugurated by Ms. Rekha Sharma, Minister of Communications and ICT, Nepal Govt. Apart from this, visitors will have the opportunity to explore various projects prepared by students in the field of AI and Cybersecurity. The exhibition will have more than 30 stalls showcasing projects related to innovation. The exhibition will also include Smart Glasses, Smart Blind Sticks (used by blind individuals), and home security systems which are designed to detect unauthorized intrusions in houses.
Likewise, the exhibition will feature Fire Alarm System, Smart Watch, Health Monitoring System, Smart Traffic Management System, and projects related to Smart Precision Agriculture for visitors to explore. In addition, college students have developed a system for identifying and reporting fires through report monitoring, Augmented Reality (AR) for field monitoring and crop inspection, and Planetary Exploration Robots will be showcased at the exhibition.
Smart Waste Management Systems, Smart Egg-hatching Systems, Smart Boats, Smart Hydroponics, and Surveillance Military Robots will feature in the exhibition along with other cutting-edge innovative projects for visitors to look into. The Expo, which will take place from 11-14 Shrawan, can be visited for free from 10 am to 5 pm. Softwarica College, affiliated with Coventry University in the UK, offers courses in Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity, Computing, Data Science, and Computational Intelligence. Every year, an exhibition is organized to showcase the projects prepared by the students studying at Softwarica College. This time, the software exhibition, known as “IoT Expo”, is being presented under the name of “Tech Expo”.
