SCT and Moru have entered into an agreement to render Smart QR based digital payment services.
Smart Choice Technologies (SCT) is a payment system operator (PSO) and Moru digital wallet is payment system provider (PSP) in Nepal. They have collaborated for integrating Smart QR in Moru digital wallet. Smart QR is a QR based payment system developed by SCT.
The agreement was signed and exchanged by Narayan Prakash Bhuju, CEO of SCT, and Asutosh Shah, CEO of Moru Digital Wallet (Pay Nep).
From this collaboration, more than 500,000 users of Moru Digital Wallet will be able to scan and pay at 160,000+ merchant outlets that offer Smart QR service.
Also, the merchants who haven’t enrolled in Smart QR services up until now will be able to subscribe to Smart QR digital payment services through Moru absolutely free of charge.

Smart Choice Technologies (SCT) launched Smart QR back in 2020 to support digital payments in Nepal through QR based payment services. It is available for making payments in various PSPs, digital wallets and mobile banking etc.
The customer can simply visit the merchant store (physical or online stores), scan the QR code of Smart QR and then pay to the merchant at an instant.
