Nepal Telecom has finally extended its 4G/LTE service to 50 major cities of all 7 Provinces of Nepal. PM KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the service extension by making a video call to the Chief Ministers of all 7 Provinces including the mayor of different cities.
On Poush 17, 2073, Nepal Telecom introduce 4G/LTE service for the first time in Nepal. Earlier, the 4G service was only available in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Now, after the expansion, it will be available in major 32 districts covering all 7 provinces. Nepal Telecom is moving forward with the goal of expanding the 4G/LTE network across the country within a year.

According to Nepal Telecom, the minimum speed of 4G is 35 MB per second. Pratibha Vaidya, the spokesperson for Nepal Telecom, said: “It will also facilitate the flow of latest services, including video, through high-speed Internet services “.
Currently, Nepal Telecom’s 4G/LTE network is available in the following places.
