Mi Smart Band 6 was unveiled on Part 1 of Xiaomi‘s Mega Launch Event on March 29. Today, Xiaomi Nepal unveiled Mi Band 6 here in Nepal through it’s facebook page. The band falls under fitness tracker category for all fitness lovers. It is the successor to Mi Band 5 launched a year ago. Mi Smart Band 6 Overview
The band comes in 6 different colours i.e. Black, Orange, Yellow, Olive, Ivory, Blue. It has a 1.56 inch AMOLED display having up to 450 nits brightness. The display contains 152 x 486 pixels with 326ppi and tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating. A silicone strap is used in the band. The device is 5 ATM water-resistant.
The Smart Band is compactable with Android 5.0 and above & iOS 10 and above. The device also offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. You can also connect this device to the Mi Wear app and Mi Fit app along with Strava as it is Strava app compatible. The device includes fitness functions such as 30 fitness modes, Breathe exercise, Customizable function module and 6 auto-detection modes i.e. cycling, running, walking, elliptical, treadmill, rowing. It also provides health functions like Personal Activity Intelligence, Stress monitoring, Sleep tracking e.t.c. There is an Sp02 sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and a PPG heart rate sensor to monitor your health data.
The battery of this band is charged through magnetic charging and will take less than 2 hours to charge fully. The battery is a 125mAh LiPo battery which provides around 14 days of standby time.
