Apple has two revised M1 chips. “Finally the beast that everyone wanted is here”; we didn’t say it, this is what Apple has been proclaiming in the ads of new MacBook M1 Pro and MacBook M1 max. Apple launched MacBook Pro M1 to Pro Max. As you might expect from Apple. In this article we talk in depths about the new products.

Overview
Apple made some bold claims about the performance of its new M1 Pro and M1 Max SoCs, including their graphics capabilities. The new designs are built on the same architecture as the M1, but they push core counts and RAM limits far past what the M1 offered. Apple doesn’t sell the M1, M1 Pro, or M1 Max individually, so the price is dictated by the devices each chip is inside.
M1 MacBook Pro
This is a redesigned 14-inch MacBook Pro. Further it is now configurable with two more powerful variants of Apple’s incredible M1 chip: the M1 Pro and the M1 Max, two beefy new pieces of Apple silicon. There are two 14in MacBook Pro models: at the entry-level is a 8-Core CPU, 14-Core GPU model with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Other notable changes to the look of the 14in MacBook Pro include the addition of a ‘Notch’ at the top of the screen, this means that Apple can reduce the size of the bezel above the screen.
MacBook M1 Max
The M1X Max also supports 400gbps data bandwidth, which is six times than the original M1 and twice that of the M1 Pro. This will be a key metric for people that run demanding processes, like video editing, music creation and 3D modelling. The chip houses 57 billion transistors, 1.7x more than the M1 Pro. It can also be configured with up to 64GB of memory, while the M1 Pro maxes out at 32GB.

Apple’s M1 Max processor
Faster AI
Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.
- Apple for several years has steadily improved AI and it’s built into its A-series chips for for other product and now has brought that to its M-series chips, too. Intel, which has suffered from years of difficulties improving its manufacturing processes, has been slower to add AI accelerators.
How is M1 MacBook Pro different from MacBook Pro Max?
The M1 Pro’s CPU performance is 70% faster and GPU performance is 100% faster compare to the M1. While, the M1 Max has a faster internal data transfer system and memory interface.
Likewise its M1 processor, the M1 Pro and M1 Max are built using a 5-nanometer manufacturing process. They’re members of the Arm family of chips used to power every smartphone and many other devices. Apple uses Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. to build its chips.

CONS
Somehow it seems like Apple literally abandoned pros for years. Now they offer two good options, but when are the next updates? Too few options, no upgradability, and an uncertain future roadmap. MacBook Pro is very good for its reasons but still the question is, “What about other updates?”
Conclusion
Apple hardly disappoints us. This is purely an improved version by looks and its processors. Both processors are built on the same architecture, but they meet different demands. This is the new MacBook M1 Pro and MacBook M1 max for you.
