Daraz partners with Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games as Official E-commerce Platform, targeting development for both organisations, providing a unique opportunity to showcase their brands on a global stage. In order to promote Asian Games, and the Olympic Movement in Nepal, the Olympic Council of Asia, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, and the Nepal National Olympic Committee came together to organise the Asian Games Fun Run. Meanwhile, Daraz came out as a beneficiary and an avid supporter of the campaign, with 14 runners out of the total participants in the Fun Run.
The event was scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2023 – it was held in Patan Durbar Square at 6:30 A.M. The run featured a 3.5-kilometer (approx.) course through the heart of Patan, providing participants with a unique opportunity to see some of the city’s most famous landmarks while engaging in physical activity.
The Asian Games Fun Run is a part of OCA’s ongoing efforts with the Nepal Olympic Committee to promote the Asian Games. Alongside that, the motto is to bring together elite athletes, social runners, students, children, and sports officials.
The Asian Games Fun Run was scheduled in 12 countries, including Nepal, for February and March, while the OCA launched the overseas tour in Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia last October.
