A couple of months ago, Samsung announced Galaxy F62 with flagship-level performance. The same phone is about to be launched in Nepal with a different name, Galaxy M62. It has the same processor used in Galaxy Note 10 lineup (Exynos version). The back cover is made from plastic along with its frame. There is no any mention of protection glass used. The back cover has gradient finish along with Samsung branding. Punch hole cutout is situated at the top of screen. There is 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with 110% NTSC color coverage. Despite being regular 60Hz panel, Samsung displays have always been good in terms of contrast and sharpness. So, we can expect similar quality that we have seen in Samsung’s phones.
Performance
Major highlight of the phone is it’s performance. There is Samsung’s flagship from 2019, Exynos 9825. It is the same CPU used in Galaxy Note 10 lineup back in 2019. Despite being 4G processor, this should handle even the most demanding titles with ease. It is an octa-core processor based on 7nm process. Samsung has not hesitated to boast the test scores in their official website. The device scores 452065 on Antutu V8, 2401 on Geekbench 5 and 68 on GFXBench 5. So, the scores are definitely very promising. In terms of memory configuration, it features 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.
Camera
Talking about cameras, here we can see quad camera setup on the back. The primary lens is of 64MP along with 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP macro and 5MP depth sensor. It also supports 4K video recording at 30FPS. In terms of selfie camera, there is a 32MP lens at the punch-hole cutout situated at front of the device.
Battery & Other Features
Galaxy M62 has massive 7000mAh battery. To charge it up, Samsung has included a 25W Type-C fast charger in the box. The device comes with Android 11 along with One UI 3.1 on top. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The fingerprint scanner is located at the side frame.
