CNI & CNIYEF announces the formation of a Startup Committee with the objective to ignite a startup movement in Nepal. The committee is being headed by a youth entrepreneur Ms Ayushi KC and the coordinating VP is Mr Rohit Gupta.
The committee has been formed with the dual aim of promoting startup as a campaign in Nepal and establishing innovative businesses as an integral part of the economy. The committee will continually promote to start ups businesses in Nepal.
CNI President Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal said that the committee could work with the government in regards to the implementation of various government policies targeting the startups. Highlighting evolving nature of businesses, President Agrawal further encouraged entrepreneurs to explore business possibilities in newer areas. “The committee can provide mentorship opportunities regarding the changing business context,” said Agrawal.
Similarly, the Vice President Mr. Rohit Gupta said that the committee will act as a medium for disseminating new innovation and ideas in the business market.

The conveyer of the committee Ms Ayushi KC has reiterated the fact that only 25 percent of startups have been closed as a direct result of the pandemic and the revival of these startups are minuscule. She has informed that the committee aims to hold a startup conference in Nepal by March 2022.
Mr Chang Agrawal is the co-conveyer of the committee. Similarly, the other members of the committee are Mr Sagar Dev Bhatt, Mr Amun Thapa, Mr Rupesh Krishna Shrestha, Mr Manish Shrestha, Ms Prachi Agrawal, Mr Tejing Gonsar, Dr. Manish Thapa, Ms Lalita Golyan, Mr Shikhar Pandit, Mr Suman Rayamaji, and Mr Imran Ali.
