Nepal Telecom vs Ncell COVID-19 Lockdown Package: Complete Comparision

Ncell and Nepal Telecom have come up with offers to help people stay in touch with their friends and families while practicing social distancing. We cannot go out like usual times to get a recharge card when we need one. So, both these companies have brought up offers for their consumers. We can use these offers to maximize our usage of connectivity regarding calls, or data usage. You can now stay connected, entertained, and even attend important meetings or online classes at most beneficiary packages than ever.

Stay at Home Pack: Ncell vs Nepal Telecom

Nepal Telecom is providing an offer namely, “Stay Connected Offer” – Voice where you get:

  • 60 min. Voice @ Rs.25; 40 min. + 20 min. (50% Bonus); valid for 1 day.
  •  285 min. Voice @ Rs.100; 190 min. + 95 min. (50% Bonus); valid for 7 days. 

“Stay Connected Offer”- Data

  • 4 GB Data @ Rs.100; 1 GB + 3 GB (4G Bonus); valid for 5 days.
  • 10 GB Data @ Rs.200; 2 GB + 8 GB (4G Bonus); valid for 7 days.

Dial *1415*10# to get these offers. These offers are valid up to April 27, 2020. 

Ncell is providing the following offer:

Stay Home Data Pack Offer provides 15GB of data at Rs.230 (excluding tax). The period of this Data has been extended from 7 days to 10 days. This pack can be used from 12 am to 6 pm.

Pay later Ncell vs Zero balance NTC

NTC has introduced the “Zero Balance Offer”. If you want to be a recipient of this offer there are certain criteria you need to fulfill. Firstly, you need to have made at least one call during Chaitra 11 to Chaitra 18. Secondly, you need to have a balance of less than 33 paisa on the night of Baisakh 8, 2077. If you meet these criteria then you will receive a message from NTC. Within 2 days of receiving the message, you will have to reply to it via SMS. Once you have replied, the company will provide you with the package which will also be notified to you via SMS. In this offer you get, 100 MB data 50 Min. talk time and 25 SMS.

In Ncell’s Data and SMS Saapati, you can get a data pack of 250 MB data + 250 SMS for Rs. 20 only and 250 SMS for Rs. 10 only. You can take Saapati when your balance is less than Rs.5 and your SIM needs to be at least 2 months old. It is valid until April 28, 2020.

Also, there is a Bundle offer from Ncell, which includes 25 minutes Voice Call, 250MB data, and 25 SMS. If you want to be a recipient of this offer, then you need to follow certain criteria. Ncell has said that this offer will only be available to the users who haven’t used Voice, Data or SMS services since the lockdown. Also, the main balance of the user should be less than Rs. 5. The users can use the package from 9 pm of each day to 9 am of the following day. The offer will start from April 24th, 2020 (Friday), and is going to be valid for a week. You should also note that a certain amount will be deducted later when you recharge your balance to your phone once you subscribe to the offer.
