The WITSA merit award for the category “Digital Opportunity/ Inclusion Award” was awarded to Veda App by Ingrails Pvt. Ltd. at the 2020 WITSA Global ICT Excellence Awards event. Under the E-Education & Learning Prize (Private Sector/NGO), the firm earned the award for Veda MIS, the company’s main product.
This award was announced on the 13th of November through a Virtual Event at the 2021 World Congress on IT in Dhaka along with several other categories. The World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) chooses the winners from 80 nations, including Australia, South Africa, Canada, Malaysia, and others, to choose the most influential and creative candidates from across the world. The WITSA Global ICT Excellence Awards, according to their press release, are one of the most distinguished since its members represent 90% of the global ICT industry.
Veda MIS has been providing an all-in-one platform for educational institutions to aid the digital transition. The vision of the company is complete digital autonomy, equal opportunity, and mitigation of disruptions in education. The software has been providing administrative and accounting solutions to schools in addition to online classes, assignments, and examinations since 2015.
We hope that this recognition will boost VEDA MIS aiding them to reach their goal of ensuring that developing countries catch up in terms of the evolution of education worldwide.
