How to Link and Verify Standard Chartered Bank Account in connectIPS
Before linking the bank account, the customer needs to ensure that the mobile number used in connectIPS is same as that provided at the bank.
The process to link your account is simple and can be done in just a few clicks. Customers need to log in to their Online Banking or SC Mobile App, click on “Transfer” in the main menu, and select “connectIPS Transfer”. From there, they can click on “Link to connectIPS” and enter their connectIPS ID and account alias.
The system will then prompt customers to enter their email address or mobile number registered with the bank. Once confirmed, customers can enter the OTP sent to their mobile device to complete the verification process.
- Login to Online Banking/SC Mobile App
- In the main menu, click on “Transfer”
- Select “connectIPS Transfer”

- Enter connectIPS ID and Account alias
- System will prompt your email ID/ Mobile number registered with the bank*
- Click confirm to submit the request
- Enter OTP sent to your mobile, confirm and you are done
