NT Fiber Internet: List of All Coverage Areas

Nepal’s most prominent telecom service provider, Nepal Telecom has also been providing FTTH Fiber Internet service with the aim to deliver high-quality data and internet services in Nepal. Through its unprecedented high-speed fiber internet, it is harnessing the power of technology to stimulate social and economic growth in the country. Mostly responsible for digital transformation in Nepal’s telecommunications, NT Fiber Internet has been providing its services in 45+ districts as of now.

In recent years, Nepal Telecom has been providing FTTH NT Fiber internet in different parts of the country. Initially, high-speed internet speed was available only in Kathmandu which was later expanded in more and more cities. Now, the FTTH Fiber Internet by NTC is made available in 45 districts of Nepal. Currently, however, NTTV is available only in Kathmandu Valley and Banepa. It will be available in other places soon as listed on the company website.

NT Fiber Internet Coverage Area

Since its inception, NTC has been planning to provide high-speed fiber internet throughout the country. Beginning from Jestha 27, 2075 in Kirtipur, NTC had started expanding its service areas every year. Below we mention all the available service and coverage areas along with detailed information regarding the availability of NT Fiber Internet.

According to the economic survey of the government at the end of the fiscal year 2077/78, Nepal Telecom has around 1 lakh, 40 thousand NT Fiber Internet customers as per NTA data Chaitra 2077. Although the Covid-19 pandemic had slowed down the expansion of coverage areas, NTC still managed to add the highest number of FTTH subscribers during the pandemic. If the expansion target goes further in the same way, NTC targets to develop the FTTH network with a capacity of 3 lakhs and 50 thousand across the country.
