Moto Watch 100 launched officially with Moto OS and 14 days battery life


Moto Watch 100 has been launched officially after weeks of rumors and leaks. The tech giant, Motorola is very hopeful to mark its place in wearables with this all-new feature-packed device. The Lenovo owned-Motorola has not launched any smart wearable since the last Moto 360 back in 2019. In this post, we provide a detailed overview, specifications, and pricing of this latest watch.

Moto Watch 100 Overview

Moto Watch 100 comes in a circular design and carries features including heart rate tracking and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring. This watch is Motorola’s first smartwatch to run on its proprietary Moto OS. The proprietary operating system is claimed to be focused on health. It is also designed to significantly increase the smartwatch’s battery life. The Moto Watch 100 can give up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

Moreover, the Watch 100 possesses an LCD display with a 360 x 360 pixels resolution and an ‘Always On’ feature.  It is equipped with a series of sensors that comprises an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, and SpO2. These sensors help provide fitness results with detailed stats and data including heart rate, sleep tracking, weight tracking, and blood oxygen levels. It also has a built-in GPS for tracking your workouts.

Talking about the watch strap, the in-box strap is made of silicone and comes only in a black color option. However, users can easily replace it with other third-party straps available in the market. Not only the Watch 100 has 5ATM water resistance but also supports Bluetooth 5.0, and weighs just 45.8g.

Moto Watch 100 price in Nepal and Availability

The pricing for Moto Watch 100 has been carefully chosen at $99.99 (roughly Rs. 12,000). The smartwatch is available in Glacier Silver and Phantom Black colors as listed on the Motorola US website. However, the watch is currently available for pre-order only in the US market, with its shipments starting from December 10. The watch will be available for order soon in Nepal as well.
