ICT Award, the most prestigious award in the ICT sector of Nepal, has opened nominations for 2023. Nominations have been opened for 13 different categories of the award.
What is ICT Award?
The ICT Award is an annual event that honors the most innovative and impactful people, organizations, and initiatives in the ICT sector of Nepal. The award is organized by Living with ICT, the leading ICT magazine in Nepal, and aims to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and excellence in the field of technology.
The ICT Award has been running since 2016 and has received more than 2700 nominations from across Nepal and abroad. More than 100 individuals and organizations have received the award so far. The award has also created a platform for networking and exposure for the tech community in Nepal.
This year, the ICT Award has opened nominations for 13 different categories. You can nominate yourself or someone you know or appreciate for one of these categories.

- Startup ICT Award: This category recognizes the most promising and innovative startup company in the ICT sector of Nepal.
- Product ICT Award: This category recognizes the best product or service developed by an ICT company or individual in Nepal.
- Rising Star and Innovation ICT Award: This category recognizes the most creative and original idea or project in the ICT sector of Nepal by a student or a young professional.
- Professional Excellence ICT Award: This category recognizes the outstanding contribution and achievement of an individual in the ICT sector of Nepal.
- Pioneer ICT Award: This category recognizes the pioneer and visionary person or organization that has made a significant impact on the development of the ICT sector of Nepal.
- Nepali Diaspora ICT Award: This category recognizes the contribution and achievement of a person from Nepali origin who has made a remarkable achievement in the field of ICT.
- Entrepreneur ICT Award: This category recognizes the most successful and inspiring entrepreneur in the ICT sector of Nepal.
- Woman Icon ICT Award: This category recognizes the most influential and inspiring woman in the ICT sector of Nepal.
- Digital Education ICT Award (Private Sector): This category recognizes the best digital education initiative by a private educational institution in Nepal.
- Digital Education ICT Award (Public Sector): This category recognizes the best digital education initiative by a government educational institution in Nepal.
- Digital Services ICT Award: This category recognizes the best private sector organization making its service digital friendly for the general public or the service consumers with the use of information and communication technology.
- Digital Governance ICT Award: This category recognizes the best digital governance initiative by a government organization in Nepal.
- South Asia Startup ICT Award: This category recognizes the best startup company in the ICT sector from South Asia.
