CSIT Association of Nepal is an independent service-oriented social organization. It was established in 2011 by the young energetic B.Sc.CSIT students persuading their careers in the field of ICT.
With the passage of time, today, there are over 10,000 students from 60+ colleges all over the nation, who are now the proud members of this program.
CSIT Association of Nepal: CSITAN is basically a bridge between the academy and current IT industries of Nepal, aiming to create a well-equipped CSITcian for the betterment of the nation. They have their reach in Butwal, Chitwan, Purvanchal, Pokhara and Nepalgunj Committee as well.
They are very well-known for conducting several national and international events, hackathons, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and counseling programs in different parts of Nepal. So, continuing the legacy, CSITAN announces 6th University-Industry Tie-Up with the goal of creating platforms for IT students to learn, grow, and level-up their skills.

Considering the capability of the young generation as they can lead to higher savings, higher investment and consequently a higher economic growth rate of the nation, CSITAN has shelled in a university-Industry tie-up.
This tie-up will mainly focus on filling the gap between the Academy (in terms of skilled professionals) and Industries (in terms of demand of these professionals) for the betterment of the society.
The core concept of the “University-Industry Tie-up” is to bridge the huge gap between the university course curriculum that the students acquire in their colleges and the requirement a company is seeking in potential job/intern applicants and to find a solution to uplift the current education status.
This small initiation focuses more on exhibiting the current scenario of the curriculum and the potentials of CSIT students to the industry. More to that it will also help the students understand the expectations of the industry from its applicants.
This a great initiation that can create big impacts in the career of thousands of CSIT students as this event fosters the industry-university collaboration. That uplifts the standard of CSIT course whereas also creates a huge resource pool of industry-ready professionals

CSITAN has already organized the UI Tie-ups for 5 different years and it had been a huge success. However, due to some difficulties, the program could not be continued for a few years. This is why they are bringing back the 6th University-Industry Tie-up as the program is still very relevant to the current scenario of the tech industry and academics.
